The NBA regular season has officially hit its midway point. With the season now halfway over, it’s time to look at some awards. First, the most notorious of them all, MVP. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been unstoppable since the beginning of the season and even looked more impressive than last year that ended with him holding the MVP award. However, the ageless wonder LeBron James is leading the league in assists and, more importantly, the Los Angeles Lakers to the best record in the Western Conference. SI senior writer Chris Mannix makes his case for MVP at this point in the season as well as who is coach of the year.
