Corey Parson: When the NBA resumes in Orlando next month, not all players will be there. And it could be for no different reasons. Joining me right now to discuss is SI.com's Rohan Nadkarni we already heard Wizards, Davis Bertans is going to sit out and skip the bazoo for financial reasons. What can you let us know about that situation?

Rohan Nadkarni: Yeah, you know, I think this makes a lot of sense for Bertans here, you know, he's an oncoming free agent, whatever free agency is going to look like after this season. The Wizards aren't likely to make the playoffs. They're sitting near the bottom of the eastern conference teams that are returning. So I think Bertans is trying to protect his financial future. I try to look out for his health. He's had multiple ACL injuries in the past and he had a breakout season this year. So it's really setting up to be a big summer for him. Makes a lot of sense why someone like him would like to protect his future as opposed to taking a risk in this bubble.

Corey Parson: It's interesting because I feel like the Wizards were a team that could actually pushed the Brooklyn Nets and gotten into the playoffs. With that being said, though, this upcoming Wednesday, you have a situation where it's more or less deadline day for the whole league. What are some other names you'd be keeping an eye on, guys that might skip out on the bubble?

Rohan Nadkarni: You know, it's really hard to know right now, I would keep an eye again on guys who are upcoming free agents, guys who, you know, again or maybe they're getting some kind of payday this summer. I don't want to recklessly speculate, but I mean, you can kind of look down a list of free agents and teams that are kind of on the bubble, you know, someone like a DeMar in San Antonio, for example. What is he going to do? Again, that's a team that's going to be an uphill climb for them to make the playoffs. So I think those are the names you. You want to look at. But again, players have a variety of motivations here, whether it's to come back and use the platform for social justice reform or whether it's just step away so they can focus on these projects. I don't want to recklessly speculate, but I think, you know, the guys were in a situation where they might be upcoming free agents or aren't on teams that are expected to make the playoffs. Those are the kinds of guys I keep an eye on.

Corey Parson: All right. Thanks a lot, Rohan, for the latest news from the NBA. And this breaking story. Make sure you keep it locked right here at SI.com
