Zach Collins has missed the first two games of the Blazers' first-round series with the Lakers and now we know why.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Collins has suffered a hairline stress fracture.

Portland Trail Blazers say the forward’s fracture to his left ankle will cause him to miss the remainder of the season.

The injury occurred during the Play-In game with the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Collins will need surgery to repair his injury but a date has not yet been set.

The 22-year started in 11 games for the Trail Blazers this season, averaging 7.0 points and 6.3 rebounds.
