In a surprising move, the Brooklyn Nets hired Steve Nash as head coach despite him not having any experience in the coaching ranks.

However, Sports Illustrated host Robin Lundberg explains that considering recent NBA history, Nash may actually be qualified for the Nets job. Especially when his status as a player, reputation and relationship with those within the organization is factored into the equation.
