Draymond Green Blasts Kevin Durant Amid Warriors-Suns Drama

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green called out Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant

The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns have had some great battles in recent years. While this isn't quite a rivalry since there haven't been any playoff battles, there is certainly something extra when these two teams play.

A lot of this began with the Klay Thompson vs. Devin Booker beef, but that has cooled off since Thompson's complimentary comments about Booker on Paul George's Podcast P show. That said, there is a new beef between Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic that has surpassed anything Thompson and Booker had.

This of course began when Green struck Nurkic, leading to his indefinite suspension. Nurkic had a lot to say about Green after that game, and even more to say about the Warriors forward after their latest battle. Responding to these comments on a new episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green not only called out Nurkic, but Kevin Durant as well.

"[Nurkic] and Kevin [Durant] questioning my character before," Green said. "As if you're going to question somebody's character about a basketball game, as if this is not real life, as if that don't affect people's pockets. I think all of it was really cowardly... I think they all wack. Both of them."

Green added, "Everyone was questioning what I said to KD after the game... This is me. I do this. Been doing this. Gonna keep doing this. Which is the same thing I said in that Clippers game years ago. Been winning championships. Been doing this. Gonna keep doing this when you leave here. Didn't lie. Got fined a whole game check... Fast forward, wasn't a lie."

It will be interesting to see if Durant responds to these comments from Green.
