NBA Legend Slams Golden State Warriors

Kevin Garnett does not believe in the Warriors.

There's no denying it, the Golden State Warriors are struggling this season. After a fantastic 6-2 start, the team has not been able to sustain any type of momentum. Now, the critics are starting to grow.

On the newest episode of KG Certified, NBA legend Kevin Garnett absolutely slammed the current Golden State Warriors. In fact, he doesn't even believe the Warriors are currently a playoff team.

"This team is not a playoff team," Garnett said emphatically to Paul Pierce. "At all."

Paul Pierce was shocked at Garnett's comments and asked him if he believed Golden State would even be in the play-in tournament. Garnett then doubled down.

"No, not at all," Garnett doubled down about their play-in chances. "I'm just watching teams get better than them."

While the Golden State Warriors are struggling, they're nowhere near as cooked as Kevin Garnett is describing them to be. The team is only two games under .500, with 62 games left to play. Not only that, but they've had numerous close games against the Phoenix Suns, LA Clippers, and Sacramento Kings. It's not as if the Warriors are getting destroyed by their competition, they're either blowing leads or losing very close games.

If history has taught one thing, it's to never doubt players of the caliber of Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, or Kawhi Leonard. One of those four players is on the Golden State Warriors, so that's worth remembering.
