Warriors vs. Pelicans Updated Injury Report

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a win against the New Orleans Pelicans

With Zion Williamson sidelined, the New Orleans Pelicans looked to be heading straight to the bottom of the Western Conference. The team had been struggling mightily in the absence of their star player, and fell from the top of the West all the way below the play-in picture at one point.

It was beginning to look as if the Pelicans had no shot of saving their season and making a playoff push, but a recent stretch of good play from New Orleans has them right back in the mix. Winners of their last five games, the Pelicans now sit one game above .500, which is good for 8th in the Western Conference. Their winning streak is the second-longest in basketball, trailing only the six-game winning streak that the Memphis Grizzlies currently have.

Set to face the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, the Pelicans sit just a half-game behind Golden State in the Western Conference standings, and would pass them with a victory in this one. Looking to avoid this outcome and escape the play-in tournament themselves, the Warriors will look to get back on track in this one.

For the Warriors, they will be without Andrew Wiggins, Ryan Rollins, and Andre Iguodala. Both Draymond Green and Jordan Poole are listed as probable for the Warriors in this game. For the Pelicans, they will be without Zion Williamson, Jose Alvarado, and E.J. Liddell. As previously mentioned, this is a huge game for both teams, as the NBA season is rapidly coming to a close. With so much seeding still to be determined, every game is vital at this point.
