These Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers legends have respect for each other

The Golden State Warriors are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, which gives fans another look at the iconic matchup between LeBron James and Steph Curry. The two all-time greats have faced off countless times, many of which came in the NBA Finals.

While Curry and James had one of the best rivalries in sports from 2015-2018, there has always been a level of mutual respect between the two legends. Sharing a moment together during Saturday night's game, Curry and James had an exchange that has been going viral on social media:

While Curry and James had some of their best battles in the NBA Finals, their postseason matchups did not end there, with the two facing each other in the 2021 Play-In Tournament, as well as last year's Western Conference Semi-Finals series.

Another Play-In battle between the Lakers and the Warriors is not out of the picture this season, as the two teams have been hovering around the bottom of the Play-In picture for most of the season. While these two teams of course would like to be much higher in the standings than they are right now, the Western Conference has a lot of really good teams, which has pushed the Lakers and the Warriors down the standings.

As for Curry and James, both players are still certified stars in this league.
