Steph Curry Reveals Message to Scott Foster After Chris Paul Ejection

In this story:
NBA referee Scott Foster has a long history with Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul. Ejecting Paul from Wednesday night's game vs. the Phoenix Suns after two quick technical fouls, Foster added another chapter to his rivalry with Paul, and it's something the Warriors understandably did not appreciate.
Speaking with reporters after the game, Warriors star Steph Curry said, "I think we were down double digits already, and we obviously needed CP and his leadership and the way he manages the game. I don't like and appreciate - I know there’s history and all that, I know he talked about it, when both the player and the ref engage in conversation, that has to kind of stay there. I told Scott that after he ejected him. There are certain situations where I know players overstep… But when both are engaged, I don’t like that. That’s the part that messed with me the most when I was watching it. It was two guys talking, speaking their truths. Let’s just play basketball."

It seems everyone knows there is a personal element between Foster and Paul, which is something that should not be impacting how an official calls a game. For Curry, he recognizes this as well, but had an even bigger issue with the fact that both Paul and Foster were engaged in conversation at that moment, which the star guard believes should not result in an ejection.
