Steve Kerr Drops Bold Shohei Ohtani Prediction

In this story:
The entire MLB world has been glued to their phones on Friday, as the Shohei Ohtani sweepstakes have started to heat up. The two-way sensation is a free agent for the first time since signing with the Los Angeles Angels in 2017, and is expected to make his decision soon.
With speculation about different teams having the upper hand in the Ohtani race, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr shared his prediction, saying on the Willard & Dibs show that Ohtani is going to the San Francisco Giants.
"I believe [Ohtani] is going to be a Giant," Kerr said." As a Dodger fan, I want him to be a Giant.... The rivalry is so great... I'm for drama, I'm for excitement... I actually mean it. I'm not trying to endear myself to the Bay Area fans."

The Giants were one of the teams expected to have a real chance at Ohtani when he first came to the MLB, but with the National League not yet having a designated hitter, it did not make much sense for the two-way star to sign with an NL team.
Now with the universal DH, Ohtani could sign anywhere and become their full-time DH when not on the mound. Could this be the Giants? Warriors head coach Steve Kerr seems to think so, despite what the current rumors may suggest about the Toronto Blue Jays and other teams.
