In this story:

Stephen Curry went through another scrimmage on Thursday, and Steve Kerr commented on how he looked.

"He's pretty good. He looks like Steph Curry," Kerr said.

Kerr then revealed when the decision will be made if he can return for Sunday's game against the Houston Rockets.

"We'll see how he recovers tomorrow," Kerr said. " ... So, got a couple days to recover, and [director of sports medicine and performance Rick Celebrini] and Steph will make a decision on that tomorrow, probably."

Curry has missed the last 26 games with runner's knee. He went through a scrimmage on Tuesday, which is usually the last hurdle a Warrior needs to clear before returning from a long-term injury.

It's a good sign that he didn't have any setbacks after Tuesday's scrimmage, and now we will await the news on he feels after Thursday's.

Analyst Calls Tomorrow's Decision 'Make-or-Break' for Steph's Season

ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel had an interesting take on Curry's availability for the rest of seaosn.

"That is the date, make or break, for Stephen Curry to return. He will either play against the Rockets, or they'll say that he won't be available because he has some kind of setback, or he's still experiencing knee pain, and they will rule him out for the season at that point."

After Thursday, the Warriors have just five regular-season games remaining. It wouldn't be surprising if any setback leads to him getting shut down.

Warriors' Difficult Play-In Path Looking More and More Likely

The Warriors (36-40) are 10th in the Western Conference, and they don't have much of a chance to move up.

The Los Angeles Clippers (39-37) are three games ahead of the Dubs, and the Portland Trail Blazers (39-38) are 2.5 games ahead.

The Basketball Reference Playoff Probabilities Report gives the Warriors just a 6.4 percent chance of moving up.

If the Warriors finish 10th, they'll have to win two road play-in games to make the playoffs.

The 2024-25 Miami Heat are the only team that entered the play-in tournament in 10th place to accomplish this feat. The other nine 10th-place teams did not make the playoffs.
