It Is Finally On: Washington Wizards Jordan Poole Versus Golden State Warriors Draymond Green

For the first time since Jordan Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards, he will face off against former teammate Draymond Green.

Back in December the Washington Wizards traveled to the Bay Area to face the Golden State Warriors.

That was Wizards guard Jordan Poole's first game back since he was traded from the Warriors, where he was a vital part of an NBA championship run.

But when that game happened, we missed the real matchup everyone wanted to see.

Golden State forward Draymond Green versus Poole.

Green was suspended at the time for striking Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

The forward has long been known for his antics on and off the court and after that incident he was suspended indefinitely, missing 16 games.

It wasn't the first time Green had hit someone in the face and it wasn't the most famous either, as we all remember when he punched Poole in the face at a preseason practice.

That punch could be seen as what ultimately sent the Warriors repeat chances last year into a tailspin and eventually saw Poole get traded in the offseason.

Since then, there has been a lot of talk from Green and subtle shots through the media at Poole.

Tonight, they face off on the court and it brings to the table the most intriguing game and matchup of Washington's season.

Will there be any extracurricular activities past the whistle between these two guys?

There is most definitely a possibility, especially considering Green's long rap sheet to throw a cheap shot or two.

Tonight's game isn't nationally televised but there will be a ton of eyes from all over the league on the matchup tonight.

The Wizards are one of the least popular teams to watch this year but if you were to check in on a Washington game this year, this is the one.
