NFL's Top Trade Candidates
Michael Turner
According to reports, the Cowboys, Bills, Jets and Titans have asked San Diego about its restricted free-agent running back. The Chargers want a first- and third-round pick for LaDainian Tomlinson's backup. The 25-year-old Turner averaged 6.3 yards per carry last season.
Lance Briggs
The Bears and Redskins have discussed a deal for the Pro Bowl linebacker, although the two teams are having trouble agreeing on terms. Washington's No. 6 overall pick is expected to be part of it. Briggs is Chicago's franchise player, but he may sit out part of the season if he doesn't get a long-term deal.
Trent Green
The Chiefs and Dolphins have talked about a trade for Green, and teams such as the Browns and Lions would make sense as a fit. Green is due $7.2 million next year, so he'll have to renegotiate his deal to make any kind of move possible. Kansas City reportedly wants a second-round pick for the 14-year veteran.
Randy Moss
The Raiders haven't come out and said they're dangling Moss as trade bait, but there's been a lot of buzz about other teams interested in the talented receiver. Oakland's new coach, Lane Kiffin, is saying the right things about working with Moss, but how long will that last?
Al Wilson
Denver tried to trade the eight-year veteran to the Giants, but Wilson failed his physical because of back and neck problems. The Broncos are still trying to deal the 29-year-old linebacker but the interest level will be lower.
