Reggie Bush's Busy Offseason

The NFL offseason appears to be one big joke to Reggie Bush, who recently took to Twitter to talk about how much he's enjoying the lockout. "Everybody complaining about the lockout! Shoot I'm making the most of it! Vacation, rest, relaxing, appearances here and there! I'm good!" So what has Reggie been up to? Let's find out.

Reggie's offseason started as soon as the Saints bowed out of the playoffs, losing 41-36 to the Seahawks in the wild-card round. Although it could be argued Reggie took that day off, too, since his 49 total yards provided little impact for New Orleans.

We know where Reggie hasn't been -- the football field. While Drew Brees and the rest of his Saints teammates hold their own organized workouts at Tulane during the lockout, Reggie has stayed away. Some believe it's a strong indication Reggie won't be back in New Orleans. Bush, who has missed 20 games in five years due to injury (including 8 in 2010), is due $11.8 million in 2011, and the Saints expect him to take a pay cut if he wants to stay.

Bush & Becks! Reggie greeted international soccer superstar David Beckham during halftime of Game 5 of the Hornets-Lakers playoff series in Los Angeles.

Basketball may be more on Reggie's mind than football these days. Reggie also took in Game 3 of Hornets-Lakers, this time in New Orleans. Obviously, Reggie didn't get the yellow shirt memo.

Never one to shy away from the Hollywood set (see his relationship with Kim Kardashian), Reggie hung out with musician Swizz Beatz and actress Glenda Redfield at the Light of the Sun Showcase at The Playhouse in Los Angeles.

It hasn't been all red carpet glitz and glamour for Reggie, though. He popped into a youth football practice in L.A. to take part in the adidas Facebook Game Face contest.

Why so serious? Smiling was optional when Reggie hung with 'Entourage' actor Adrian Grenier at the Grey Goose Lounge Series in Dallas during Super Bowl week.

Here's Reggie with Saints teammates Drew Brees (left) and Chase Daniel, enjoying the EA Sports Madden Bowl XVII in Grapevine, Texas.

Reggie hung with Rich Shea (who?) at the Bing National Tailgating Championship in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a fitting end to our recap of Reggie's offseason, as we would argue the disgraced Heisman Trophy winner's NFL career has been a lot of sizzle but little steak. Good thing he's not "slaving in 100 degree heat, practicing twice a day, while putting [my body] at risk for nothing." See you on Twitter, Reggie!
