The NFL is always watching. Robert Griffin III again learned that lesson the hard way, as he reportedly was hit with a $10,000 fine for sporting an "Operation Patience" shirt while working out on the field prior to Washington's Monday night preseason game with Pittsburgh.

According to the Washington Post, Griffin was hit with the punishment for "wearing unauthorized apparel" -- the NFL prohibits its players from donning any non-league-approved gear once they hit the field on gamedays.

Griffin also took a $10,000 hit last season, when he wore Adidas clothing to a postgame press conference. The NFL's official equipment sponsor is Nike.
