The Texans may acquire their quarterback through trade and use the first overall pick in the draft to take Jadeveon Clowney, according to Bleacher Report's NFL Analyst Matt Miller.

Houston is reportedly in talks with New England to acquire Ryan Mallett, possibly in exchange for a third-round pick in the draft.

Mallett was selected in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Patriots, who have previously turned down offers for a second-round pick in the draft in exchange for Mallett.
