Jets 'very intrigued' by Florida State wideout Kelvin Benjamin, per report

The New York Jetssigned Eric Decker to a big money free agent deal, but they are still expected to add another weapon early in the 2014 NFL draft. One of the options for the team appears to be Florida State Seminoles wideout Kelvin Benjamin, who decided to go pro after his redshirt sophomore campaign.

According to Jets beat writer Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets are very interested in the idea of adding Benjamin.

Part of the team's intrigue stems from his rare size.

If Benjamin's size is a big reason for their interest, they may want to pump the brakes a little bit.

It was only a couple of years ago that the team used a second-round draft pick on the 6-foot-4 Stephen Hill, who has yet to give the team the level of production that they were hoping for.

Benjamin also has some questions surrounding the consistency of his hands, but there is no denying the fact he can get deep and use his body to his advantage in the red zone.
