Teddy Bridgewater to visit with Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In recent weeks, Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has watched his draft stock begin to slide, which means that teams that didn't think he'd be available must now prepare for a possible franchise quarterback dropping into their laps in the draft.

One of those teams is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who had Bridgewater in for a visit on Monday.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network passed along the news:

Prior to the season, Bridgewater was believed by many to be the premier quarterback prospect in this year's draft. However, concerns about his size and mechanics have led people to question whether he will succeed as a pro passer.

The Buccaneers signed veteran quarterback Josh McCown in free agency, and head coach Lovie Smith stated that McCown would be the team's starter, making it unlikely the team sees Mike Glennon as its quarterback of the future.
