Houston Texans looking to trade No. 1 pick in 2014 NFL draft?

The Houston Texans can't possibly trade the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft, can they? Seems a little odd to think they'd make such a move, but there's a "chance" of it happening according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.

While there are a lot of obvious benefits associated with having the top overall pick in any draft, there's also a lot of pressure especially for a team like the Texans who have a multitude of needs.

So what's a team to do? Possibly move out of the top spot in order to acquire a kings' ransom for the first overall pick.

Speaking of the No. 1 selection, there’s a chance the Texans could try to trade down and draft a quarterback lower than No. 1. Unless another team emerges as a clear contender to move up, the Lions could play the Texans against the Rams to get a better deal for the No. 1 or No. 2 pick.
