2014 NFL draft: Who is at the top of the Dallas Cowboys' draft board?

The Dallas Cowboys own the No. 16 pick in 2014 NFL draft, but like much of Thursday night's first round, who they'll select remains a mystery.

Some reports have suggested that Dallas is looking to address last year's disastrous defense and has set its sights on UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr, while others have intimated the Cowboys may draft a quarterback.

In an appearance on Thursday morning's SportsCenter,ESPN's Todd McShaysaid Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel sits atop the Cowboys' draft board.

But just as quickly as McShay delivered his report, ESPN's Ed Werder suggested that he wasn't buying Manziel as the player the Cowboys are targeting.

That sentiment has been echoed by a handful of other reporters, some of whom have suggested that Manziel isn't even the top quarterback on the Cowboys' board.

Regardless of where he rates on the team's board going into the draft, it's within reason to believe that if Manziel does slip to the Cowboys, it will be incredibly difficult for owner/general manager Jerry Jones to pass on the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner out of Texas A&M.

For now, Manziel is just one member of a large and diverse pool of players who could come off the board on Thursday night when Dallas goes on the clock for the first time.
