The Green Bay Packers finished the 2013-14 regular season at 8-7-1, despite losing quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a fractured collarbone for seven-and-a-half games. The Packers lost in the first round of the playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Packers added former Bears' pass-rusher Julius Peppers. The team also re-signed cornerback Sam Shields, running back James Starks, and fullback John Kuhn.

Green Bay drafted safety Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2014 draft. The team also selected wide receiver Davante Adams, defensive tackle Khryi Thorton, tight end Richard Rodgers, and outside linebacker Carl Bradford in the first four rounds.
