New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick says that Geno Smith will be the team's starter despite the team saying no decision has been made, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports.

The Jets are expected to give Smith 75 percent of the first-team reps during training camp. Vick, entering his first season with the team after five with Philadelphia, said the decision is clear.

“I think that’s already been addressed as far as who the starter is,” Vick said Wednesday. “There’s no more speculation about that.”

Vick also said Wednesday he still views himself as a "premier quarterback," but he doesn't expect to open the season as the Jets' starting quarterback.

Smith, entering his second season with the Jets, started every game as a rookie last year en route to an 8-8 season. He passed for 3,046 yards and 12 touchdowns while also throwing 21 interceptions.
