Jets rookie WR Jalen Saunders hospitalized after car accident

Jets rookie receiver Jalen Saunders has been hospitalized after being involved in a single-car accident, the team announced.
The accident occurred while Saunders was driving to the Jets' practice facility Friday morning.
Saunders is being monitored "as a precaution" and has been ruled out of Saturday's preseason game at Green Bay.
The Jets drafted Saunders, 21, in the fourth round out of Oklahoma. Saunders caught 61 passes for 729 yards and eight touchdowns with the Sooners last season.

Saunders was one of three receivers selected in the fourth round or later by the Jets this year, along with Shaq Evans and Quincy Enunwa.
Evanscould miss the upcoming season due to a shoulder injury.
The Jets, which went 8-8 and finished in second place in the AFC East in 2013, open the regular season Sept. 7 against Oakland.
