Buffalo Bills first-round pick Sammy Watkins will not practice Monday night, reports ESPN's Mike Rodak. Watkins left Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers early after sustaining a rib injury.

Buffalo head coach Doug Marrone did not offer a timetable for Watkins' return, and the team did not release the results of X-rays.

The Bills traded up to select Watkins with the No. 4 pick in May's draft. Buffalo sent its 2014 first-round pick, a 2015 fourth-round pick, and its 2015 first-round pick to Cleveland to move up. The Browns took Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert with the No. 9 pick acquired in the trade.

Watkins has three catches for 21 yards in three preseason games.
