Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Monday he should have given running back Jamaal Charles the ball more often in Sunday's loss to the Titans

"Not giving 25 the ball more than seven times is negligence on my part," Reid said, according to Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star.

Chiefs' Mike DeVito expected to miss rest of season with Achilles injury

Charles had seven carries for 19 yards and four receptions for 15 yards. The Chiefs ran the ball a total of 18 times and attempted 35 passes.

It was the fewest rushing yards Charles had in a game since he carried nine times for 10 yards against the Raiders in Week 14 of the 2012 season.
