Palmer was limited in practice this week due to a sore shoulder. Backup QB Drew Stanton will start in his place. According to the Cardinals, this will be Stanton's first regular-season appearance since he played six games for Detroit in 2010.
Palmer completed 24 of 37 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns in the team's week-one win over the Chargers.
