Bengals' Marvin Lewis expects A.J. Green to be active Sunday

Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that he expects wide receiver A.J. Green to be active against the Titans on Sunday, according to Teresa Walker of the Associated Press

Earlier Wednesday, Green said he hopes to play this weekend but didn't know for sure whether he'd be able to take the field against Tennessee. .

The receiver left in the first quarter of last Sunday against the Falcons after re-aggravating a toe injury. He did not return to the game. 

On Monday, Green told ESPN that his toe isn't broken

In Week 1, Green had six receptions for 131 yards. He had 98 catches for 1,426 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2013.
