Eagles' Jason Peters: I'll risk ejection to defend Nick Foles
Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters said in an ESPN report Tuesday night from Phil Sheridan that he would risk being ejected for a second time this season if quarterback Nick Foles is blindsided again like he was on Sunday.
The 32-year-old six-time Pro-Bowler was ejected after he rushed across the field and struck Redskins defensive end Chris Baker, who had just taken down Foles. NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations Troy Vincent said in the report that Peters will not be fined or suspended.

The hit happened with the score tied at 27 and less than 10 minutes remaining in the game. The Eagles ended up winning 37-34.
Peters admitted it was wrong but said he'd do the same thing again if the situation arose:
"It was wrong. I got kicked out of the game, which definitely hurt the team. We ended up winning, but any situation where your starter gets kicked out, I'm going to try to stay away from that..And he's going to get the same result. I'd do the same thing if it happened again. The guy cheap-shotted my quarterback. And I'm going to protect him."
