Lions' Joseph Fauria injured ankle at home, will not practice Thursday

Lions tight end Joseph Fauria will not practice Thursday after injuring his ankle at home Wednesday night, Detroit head coach Jim Caldwell announced.

Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch tore his ACL while celebrating a sack last Sunday and will miss the rest of the season.

Fauria was asked earlier this week if Tulloch's injury will make him reconsider his touchdown dances. "Hell no," he responded.

The Lions' depth chart lists Fauria as the team's second tight end, behind Brandon Pettigrew and ahead of Eric Ebron

Detroit plays the Jets on the road on Sunday.
