New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings said he's right on track with his recovery from an MCL sprain.
Jennings said he will begin running this week and hopes to play after the Giants Week 8 bye. New York doesn't play again until Nov. 3.
Jennings is in his first season with New York. The 29-year-old has rushed for 396 yards and two touchdowns on 91 carries in five games this season. He also has 109 receiving yards.
The Giants will face the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football on Nov. 3.
