More huge NFC West injury news: Source tells @FOXSports1 Seahawks DT Brandon Mebane is done for the year with a torn hamstring. Wow.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) November 11, 2014
In nine games this season, Mebane recorded 20 tackles and one sack. His five tackles for loss are tied for the team-high. Mebane has been durable throughout his eight-year career, playing in 16 games in every season since 2010.
The Seahawks have won three straight games after two consecutive losses. Seattle's defense ranks third in the league with 307 yards allowed per game and fourth against the run with 79.8 yards allowed per game. But four of Seattle's next five games come against top-15 rushing offenses.
The Seahawks are 6-3 this season and two games behind the NFC West-leading Cardinals.
