New York Jets owner Woody Johnson will fire general manager John Idzik and head coach Rex Ryan on Monday, Chris Mortensen of ESPN.com reports.

Mortensen reported earlier in the day that the general manager the team hired to replace Idzik would decide Ryan's fate. Now, Mortensen reports, "Johnson won't keep Ryan hanging on fate."

A separate report by ESPN from Saturday said that Ryan is preparing to be fired by Johnson, and has already started cleaning out his office.

The Jets hired Idzik as their GM in January 2013. New York went 8-8 last season and finished the 2014 season at 4-12. The team beat the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. They will pick sixth in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Ryan has led the Jets to a 46-50 record over six seasons.
