Both of New York's head coaches wore an NYPD hat on the sideline of their respective game on Sunday.
In what he expects to be his final game as head coach of the New York Jets, Rex Ryan wore the hat during the team's season finale against the Miami Dolphins.

Last Sunday, Jets center Nick Mangoldwore an NYPD hat during warmups, Coughlin wore a black stripe on his arm and a peace sign under the team's logo on his jacket.
Saturday was the funeral for officer Rafael Ramos, one of two NYPD officers who were shot and killed while sitting in their patrol car in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Dec. 20.
