Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jason Worilds slapped Baltimore Ravens tight end Crockett Gillmore in Saturday's AFC wild-card playoff game, but wasn't ejected.

That play occurred in the second quarter, after the Ravens' Justin Forsett gained eight yards on a rushing play. Worilds was flagged for a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty, but not ejected.

Throwing a punch will get a player ejected from a game, but as former NFL vice president of officiating and current FOX rules analyst Mike Pereira said, the rule differs for open-hand strikes.

The penalty gave the Ravens a first-and-10 at the Steelers' 30-yard line. The Ravens ended the drive with a 28-yard field goal by Justin Tucker to go up 10-6.
