New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman appears ready to play in Saturday's divisional-round playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to the Boston Herald.

Edelman, who missed New England's wins over the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills in weeks 16 and 17 with a reported concussion, said Wednesday that he is looking forward to facing the Ravens.

"Anytime you don’t get to go out and play with your teammates, it’s very tough, especially at the end of the year when you’re preparing for the postseason," Edelman said. "But all of that is in the past, and I’m looking forward to today, preparing for the Ravens and getting ready for this game."

Over 14 games this season, Edelman has caught a team-high 92 passes for 972 yards. The 28-year-old is in his sixth season with the Patriots.

The Patriots are the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
