After knocking off the defending AFC champions, the Indianapolis Colts will travel to New England to face the Patriots with a Super Bowl berth on the line. Using a strong defensive effort to force Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos into just 20 completions, 211 passing yards and one total touchdown, the Colts are a game away from their first Super Bowl trip since 2009. The Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens in one of the most thrilling postseason games in recent memory, not taking a lead in the game until 5:13 remaining.

Divisional round: Colts 24, Broncos 13
Andrew Luck went 27-of-43 for 265 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, and the defense limited Peyton Manning to 211 yards and one touchdown. After the Broncos scored the game's opening points five minutes into the game on a 1-yard pass from Manning to Demaryius Thomas, Denver managed only two more field goals the rest of the game.
Wild Card round: Colts 26, Bengals 10
Andrew Luck threw for 376 yards and one touchdown and the defense held the Bengals in check to help the Colts advance to the AFC Divisional Playoff. Luck's score was a 36-yard touchdown pass to Donte Moncrief as he was being tackled to the ground. It put the Colts up 20-10.
Week 17: Colts 27, Titans 10
The Colts swept the AFC South for the second straight season for the first time in franchise history, outgaining the Titans 378-192. Andrew Luck eclipsed Peyton Manning's franchise record for passing yards in a season and also became the eighth quarterback in NFL history to throw for 40 touchdowns and at least 4,000 yards in a season.

Divisional round: Patriots 35, Ravens 31
Tom Brady went 33-of-50 for 367 yards, three touchdowns and one interceptions, keeping the Patriots in the game throughout and giving New England its first lead with 5:13 remaining. The Patriots held the Ravens to 1-of-9 on third down and overcame four touchdowns by Joe Flacco and 129 rushing yards by Justin Forsett.
Week 17:Bills 17, Patriots 9
The Bills ended a 12-game road losing streak to the Patriots as New England rested its starters, having already clinched home-field throughout the AFC playoffs. Tom Brady played only the first half of the game. Buffalo quarterback Kyle Orton threw for 176 yards and a touchdown and finished with a winning record for the first time since 2014.
Week 16: Patriots 17, Jets 16
New England clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a victory over the Jets and became the first team to earn at least a first-round bye in five straight seasons. Tom Brady threw for 182 yards, including a three-yard score to Rob Gronkowski. He was also sacked four times as the stingy Jets defense held the Patriots to 231 yards on 63 offensive snaps.
