Trailing 28-24, the Seattle Seahawks seemed in position to take the lead with a 2nd-and-1 play from the Patriots' 1-yard line. Quarterback Russell Wilson, however, tried to force a pass into the end zone on a slant play. Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler intercepted the ball and sealed the game in a wild finish.
