Former Cardinals QB John Skelton signs with Montreal Alouettes
The Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League announced on Friday that they had signed former NFL quarterback John Skelton.
Skelton, who signed a two-year deal with Montreal, spent four seasons in the NFL, including time with the Arizona Cardinals, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Tennessee Titans and the San Francisco 49ers.
The 6-foot-5 Skelton was selected with the 155th pick in the fifth round the 2010 draft, going to the Cardinals. In three years with Arizona, he appeared in 20 games, starting 17 of them.

He completed 53.2 percent of his passes, throwing for 3,707 yards and 15 touchdowns, but yielding 25 interceptions.
He was waived by the Cardinals in 2013, spending time with the Bengals, 49ers and Titans afterwards.
Originally from El Paso, TX, Skelton played four years at Fordham, passing for 9,923 yards and 69 touchdowns and rushing for 565 yards and 14 touchdowns in 43 games.

The Alouettes finished the 2014 season with a 9-9 record, before losing 40-24 to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the second round of the Grey Cup Playoffs.
