Weems led the Falcons with 13 special teams tackles last season, and also recovered two fumbles. He also added 102 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns on 10 catches.

The 29-year-old was named to the Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro in 2010 while in Atlanta.
