Cincinnati Bengals tackle Eric Winston said he will return to the team next season in a Twitter post on Tuesday.

Winston played 176 snaps in four games last season with Cincinnati, signing with the team in December after Andre Smith was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a triceps injury.

Winston, 31, is also the president of the NFL Players Association. He spent his first six seasons with the Houston Texans after being drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL draft.

He has started 121 games with the Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals and Bengals.
