Agent: Not in Adrian Peterson's best interests to play for Minnesota
Adrian Peterson's agent Ben Dogra believes it is not in his client's best interest to play for the Minnesota Vikings in 2015, Bleacher-Report's Jason Cole tweeted Monday.
The comments came as speculation at the NFL's off-season meetings in Arizona regarding Peterson's NFL future ramps up. Peterson is currently owed $13 million in 2015 and no clear suitor for the star running back has emerged.
Peterson was suspended indefinitely in November after pleading no contest to misdemeanor reckless assault in response to allegations he hit his four-year-old son with a switch.
On Feb. 26, Peterson's suspension was overturned in U.S. District Court after the NFL Players Association filed a 75-page appeal on his behalf.

Peterson, who turned 30 on Saturday, has made it clear to Minnesota that he does not wish to play for the team, despite the franchise pleading with him to return, according to CBS Sports.
The University of Oklahoma product's quest to find a new team occurs in the shadow of other star running backs, like Buffalo's LeSean McCoy and Philadelphia's DeMarco Murray, signing new contracts with new teams.
Peterson has played in seven full NFL seasons and saw action in just one game during the 2014 season.
