The Carolina Panthers have nine selections entering the NFL draft, including the 25th pick in the first round.

The Panthers have their own picks plus two compensatory picks in the fifth round.

In free agency, Carolina added safety Kurt Coleman from the Kansas City Chiefs, linebacker Jason Trusnik from the Miami Dolphins, cornerback Charles Tillman from the Chicago Bears, cornerback Teddy Williams from the Jacksonville Jaguars, wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. from the Arizona Cardinals, wide receiver Jarrett Boykin from the Green Bay Packers, tackle Jonathan Martin from the San Francisco 49rs and tackle Michael Oher from the Tennessee Titans.

However, the Panthers lost defensive end Greg Hardy, running back DeAngelo Williams, cornerback James Dockery and tackle Byron Bell.

Going into the draft, the Panthers have needs at offensive tackle, cornerback and wide receiver.
