Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly said reports that the team offered a package that included players to the Buccaneers or Titans are false, according to Reuben Frank of Comcast SportsNet.

The Bucs and Titans held the No. 1 and No. 2 picks, respectively, in the first round of Thursday's draft.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that the Eagles offered a package that included quarterback Sam Bradford.

A separate report said the Eagles were making a "serious bid" for the Titans' No. 2 pick, which the team used to select former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Kelly coached Mariota at Oregon before he was hired as the Eagles' head coach in January 2013.

In the end, Philadelphia remained at No. 20 and picked former USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor.
