A new study published Friday by PBS’s Frontline showed that 87 of 91 deceased former NFL players tested positive for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

Former Packers tight end Tom Crabtree took to Twitter to answer questions from his followers about the new findings.

“What an exciting way to start my weekend. I probably have CTE,” he said.

The 29-year-old tweeted that the NFL never educated players on the dangers of the brain injury.

Crabtree went undrafted out of Miami (OH) in 2009 and played for four seasons. He was a Super Bowl champion with the Green Bay Packers in 2011.
