Video: Packers player on Kaepernick: He ain't Russell Wilson
The Green Bay Packers beat the San Francisco 49ers on 17–3 Sunday, and the Packers defense had some unkind words for 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
A defender could be heard on an on-field microphone saying of Kaepernick, “he ain’t Russell Wilson.” The Packers, who lost to the Seattle Seahawks in last year’s NFC championship game, defeated the Seahawks earlier this season.
Wilson and Kaepernick have been compared often the past two seasons, with both young quarterbacks going head-to-head in the NFC West. Wilson has had the upper hand, leading the Seahawks to back-to-back Super Bowls.
This season, Kaepernick has a 71.1 passer rating and the 49ers are 1–3. Wilson’s rating is 94.2 and the Seahawks are 1–2 entering their Monday night game against the Detroit Lions.
