Giants receiver Odell Beckham left Sunday night’s game against the 49ers in the third quarter with a hamstring injury but was back on the field in the game’s final minute.

Beckham was initially ruled questionable to return and sat out the majority of the fourth quarter. He came back on the field after an apparent Eli Manning interception was overturned with 41 seconds to play.

Beckham left the game after catching a 17-yard touchdown pass with 1:14 left in the third quarter to give New York the lead. San Francisco tied the game on the next series and Beckham did not join the rest of the offense when it took the field again.

Beckham said after the game that he was injured before catching the touchdown.

The television broadcast showed the Giants’ trainers working on Beckham’s left hamstring, stretching it out. He jogged up and down the sideline before the Giants’ next offensive series but did not immediately return to the field.

Beckham has a history of hamstring problems. A right hamstring issue caused him to miss the first four games of his rookie season and a left hamstring injury limited him in team activities this spring.

Beckham caught seven passes for 121 yards and a touchdown before he was injured.
