The Detroit Lions picked up their first win of the season, while the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, and New England Patriots all won to stay undefeated.

• Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota will undergo an MRI on his injured left knee, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports. Mariota sustained the injury on a low hit by Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon.
• Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger plans to play next weekend against the Chiefs, Ron Cook of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Roethlisberger has missed the past three games with a sprained left MCL.
• Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins sustained a sprained right ankle in the team’s loss to the Bengals, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports. His status for next Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London is in doubt.
• Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said that he’s standing behind quarterback Kirk Cousins, reports ESPN’s John Keim. Cousins threw two interceptions for the fourth time this season in a loss to the New York Jets.
