The Detroit Lions (1–5) host the Minnesota Vikings (3–2) at Ford Field on Sunday.

The Lions picked up their first win of the season last week against their division rival Chicago Bears. Quarterback Matt Stafford finished the game 27 for 42 with 405 yards and four touchdowns. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark for the first time this season, hauling in six receptions for 166 yards and a touchdown.

The Vikings regrouped from a Week 4 loss to the Denver Broncos to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 16–10, last week. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s performance wasn’t stellar, as he went 17 for 21 with 249 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. The running game also struggled, picking up a total of just 84 yards. The Vikings defense came up big, however, holding the Chiefs to 57 yards rushing.
