San Francisco 49ers safety Antoine Bethea exited Thursday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after sustaining an apparent shoulder injury, the team announced. He did not return.

Bethea seemed to have hurt himself on play toward the end of the second quarter. On the play, Bethea was flagged for a facemask penalty against Seattle receiver Doug Baldwin.
