Former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan had some choice words to describe his firing Sunday.

Ryan was let go by the Saints on Nov. 16 after a 47–17 loss to the Washington Redskins. New Orleans entered Week 11 allowing the most points and yards per game in the entire league.

“Everything in New Orleans is being blamed on me, including [Hurricane] Katrina,” Ryan said Sunday on NFL Network.

Ryan was in his third season with the team before his firing. Last season, New Orleans was in the bottom five in points and yards allowed per game.

The Saints are on a bye in Week 11 and will face the Houston Texans next Sunday.
